PALLS supports men who are clients of the Probation Service to build their skill base and enhance their chances of securing employment and choosing a new path in life. The project operates from an ethos of careful on-going listening to the needs of the individuals involved and delivering interventions to meet those needs. These interventions are expressed formally through the delivery of a structured training programme and informally through the experience of being part of a respectful and challenging community.

The PALLS centre on the Dock Road in Limerick City has fully equipped woodwork and metalwork workshops, training spaces, counselling rooms and a large kitchen for cooking classes, plus office space for project workers, administration and management. The centre provides a city centre location that is easily accessible from all parts of Limerick City yet independent of any particular community or faction and within walking distance of Limerick Prison and the Probation Service office.
